 |
Lama Tendar will be taking a group on a spiritual journey to Nepal and India in February 2011. The tour will start in Melbourne and we will fly directly to Kathmandu where we will visit the many temples and monasteries there including Kopan Monastery, Monkey Temple, the famous, holy Bouda Stupa as well as visit popular Thamel.
From Kathmandu, we will journey down to Lumbini to pay respect to Buddha's birth place over 2600 years ago.
From here, we will continue our journey by land to Darjeeling in India. This is a region of magnificent landscape up high in the mountain.
We will be spending a few days at this picturesque hill station famous for its tea plantations and Tibetan monasteries.

From Darjeeling we will make the long journey to Dharamsala by train. We will spend most of our time here at the heart of the Tibetan settlement, taking in Tibetan culture, visiting Tibetan monasteries and temples.
This is a great opportunity to make a special spiritual journey to India and Nepal with a Tibetan lama.
It will prove to be an experience of a lifetime of pilgrimage, peace and joy. It will add new meaning to our existing life.
All are welcome.
